On Hope
dear reader,
Hello! My half worked on drafts remain in my drafts folder, my Book on 100 Indian Tinder tales is being reviewed by Kindle, so Soon I am going to be sending you a link to my first book for adults. I plan to put together my book on comics on the Kindle too.
I Early June, I will teach a workshop on environment and art to a group of 30 art teachers from Madhya Pradesh and for that I watched this very heart warming film called Landfill Harmonic. It tells the story of Paraguayan music teacher Favio Chavez and his Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, a children's orchestra in Paraguay which performs with materials recycled from a trash landfill near Asunción.
Here’s the trailer:
This week, I also saw another heartwarming Marathi film - Ata Tambaycha Naay. It is in the theatres for the fourth week and you must watch it. It is based on a true story where the Assistant Municipal commissioner of BMC inspired the fourth grade workers to complete their education. It is playing with subtitles and if it is running near your house, YOU MUST watch it.
In all my time here in Mumbai, Maharastra, I have only watched one Marathi play and my Instagram has instated that I watch Sangeet Devbabhali and so I understand better, I have been told to read:
This week, I’ve been a bit anxious about launching my book online and navigating all the review emails from Kindle. But I’m hopeful that by next week, I’ll be sending you a link to my book—and I’d love for you to read it, share your thoughts, and recommend it to everyone you know.
This book isn’t just a creative project—it’s going to monetarily fund my next people-powered initiative. So your support, whether through a purchase, a review, or a recommendation, means the world to me.
That’s it.
